Question: Great site!  My daughter and I are building the Victorian Farmhouse. I have the paint colors that she would like to use, however the paint is high quality SATIN.  My daughter is concerned because the instructions state to use Semi-Gloss. I don't know if SATIN vs. Semi-Gloss will be noticeable.
Is there a reason for stating semi-gloss?

Thank you,
Mark

How wonderful that you are doing this together!!!
Flat paint can't be washed and high gloss shows every little blip and glint
and looks bad(!), but the 'in between' paints like semigloss or satin are
cleanable and still don't bang your eyes with every edge and bump.  That's
why I use them.

Happy building
